![]() Nonetheless, I think that the improvements upon the G4M1 found in the G4M2 could be used quite well in War Thunder, Thus, in War Thunder the G4M2 could find a second chance. Unfortunately in these battles, due to the plane still lacking some protection for its crew, as well as more advanced allied fighters coming into play in parallel with the ever increasing allied air supremacy, the aircraft would often suffer in battles even in spite of its improvements. It would go on to take part in many of the large and infamous battles of 1944. The G4M2 entered production in July of 1943, and entered service with the Japanese navy that same summer.
